Who we are

Rental PI was inspired by a need for greater transparency in the rental market. It all started when the founder encountered frustrating conditions in her own apartment complex: rotting trash hidden in inaccessible corner in the cabinetry that was left there by the construction team that replaced the countertops that bred thousands of flies and attracted hoards of roaches. Management refused to take the problem seriously until forced to by Code Enforcement. Recognizing that many renters face similar issues without recourse or clear information, she set out to create a solution that would empower renters. Rental PI leverages data transparency to provide renters with insights into a property’s actual conditions, including quality, safety, and the integrity of the apartment complex when dealing with tenants—helping renters make informed decisions and avoid unpleasant surprises. With Rental PI, renters can finally access the information they need to choose a home with confidence.
